I'm not sure it's a good idea to resurrect a thread from 2012 but here goes....

I'm trying to export a line table from Civil3d 2015 to an excel file. The table contains a line number, direction (B/D) and a distance in feet.

Doing TABLEEXPORT, the command says "it's not a table".

Doing DATAEXTRACT, the data comes out so "out of order" and the degree symbol in the bearing causes issues as well. It would take longer to edit the table it does export than it would to copy/paste all of the text one by one.

Being 2015, I suggested the user make multiple tag labels for the same line, then make a table using the multiple tags. They need multiple tags because each tag represents a different value and a different level of importance, (ie. [ ], { }, ( ), etc.)

Any thoughts on this? Suggestions? I'm all ears!

Thanks in advance.

Mods, If this needs moved, please do so. Like I said, I wasn't sure... Thanks!
