This is standard Firefox behaviour of the status bar, [I assume] it is to enable you to move the bar to the opposite side of the screen if it is obscuring something on screen. Originally Posted by dbroada

As Lee mentioned, this is just standard Firefox functionality. The text moves to the right of the browser window if you mouseover. Originally Posted by dbroada

No problem. Since I too am using FireFox I guess I now know the answer. Would I be better off switching to Chrome? I hate IE.
