    Default Reading Dimensions on drawings

    Hi, i am very new at cad systems and will shortly be going on a training course. I am needeing help w.r.t. reading of the dimensions on a drawing that has been brought in from autocad to solidworks. The icons of dimensions are all inactive(grey and no result is achieved. Could you please give a giude as to which way from here.

    Can you post the file? Gray dimensions, I think, are reference dimensions and don't control anything. You have to activate the sketch that you want to change and manipulate it that way.
