    Default snap to midpoint

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I used to be able to snap to the midpoint of my wall when it had doors/windows in it. Now it snaps to the midpoint between the end of my door/window & the endpoint of my wall. I do not want to snap to the "new" midpoint, I want the midpoint of the entire wall. anyone know how to fix this problem?

M2P (mid between two points) and select the end points of the wall.

I never had to use M2P prior to this, and I did not switch versions either. all of a sudden it's like my autocad has taken on all new properties.

Sounds like you are now breaking the wall where you insert the windows/doors.

that is how it's acting, but again, I didn't have this issue before so I don't know where it came from.

I would say that would be an Architecture problem if they are wall objects.
