How do I find the area of sheathing, rather than the flat area of a roof object?

The sheathing area (finished) would be the area of each plane of the roof structure added together. For instance, each side of a straight gable end roof is two planes on angle. Find the area of these two planes and add them together. Rafter length including facia x ridge length including facia x 2.
In the real world though, you actually need to know how many full size sheets of sheathing you need to buy to cover the roof before they are cut up.
