Distorted (or abnormal) Text

Recommended Posts

Hi,

can anybody help me and let me know why do sometimes texts (in my autocad 2011) seem or appear distorted as the one of the texts shown below:

Untitled-1 copy.jpg

as you may notice, the lower written text is not as "neat" as the above one, although evrything for these two texts are same: style, layer, height, font, ...????

thank you

AutoCAD will randomly make an Arial text bold. Nobody knows why, least of all Autodesk. The only solution I know is to erase the object and re-create it.

The important thing is how do they print?

the print has no problem.

more interesting is that sometimes by moving a "neat" text (or sometimes by copying), it becomes coarser, of course not bold as CyberAngel pointed out)

I am not quite sure why it happens, but if you pick the dodgy text, and then in the Properties box, go to the z value. Although it already shows z = 0, try highlighting the 0 and re-entering it. That works for me, also FLATTEN seems to have the same effect.
