kaboki
Hi, can anybody help me and let me know why do sometimes texts (in my autocad 2011) seem or appear distorted as the one of the texts shown below: as you may notice, the lower written text is not as "neat" as the above one, although evrything for these two texts are same: style, layer, height, font, ...???? thank you Drawing2.dwg
CyberAngel
AutoCAD will randomly make an Arial text bold. Nobody knows why, least of all Autodesk. The only solution I know is to erase the object and re-create it. Welcome to the forum.

kaboki
The important thing is how do they print? the print has no problem. more interesting is that sometimes by moving a "neat" text (or sometimes by copying), it becomes coarser, of course not bold as CyberAngel pointed out)
eldon
I am not quite sure why it happens, but if you pick the dodgy text, and then in the Properties box, go to the z value. Although it already shows z = 0, try highlighting the 0 and re-entering it. That works for me, also FLATTEN seems to have the same effect.
