Are you saying the rendered output from Studio Max is not sharp or is it the compiled video from movie maker that is not sharp?
Can you post some screenshots of your render settings?

Hi all
Im currently doing a large render and im having some issue with the sharpness of the output. Im rendering it into separate jpg's then putting them straight into movie maker to create a wmv file. The render output for both 3ds max and movie maker is 1280x720 and im using mental ray rendering (just for reffrence).
Thanks

upping the studio max video output size to 1920x1080 has solved it so it must have been a resolution issue. Its taking lot longer to renderbut the outputs alot clearer
Thanks for the response

Ok, thanks for the update. And yes, larger output size = longer render times. Not much you can do about that.![]()
