Ardalee Posted April 11, 2012 Share Posted April 11, 2012 I am running Inventor 2011. I have noticed that you can add a vertex / leader with a chamfer or leader text. I need to add a vertex to a diameter / radius dimension. Is there a way to do this? I do not see an option for this in the drop down menu when I right click on my diameter / radius dimensions like I do when I right click on a chamfer or note. Please help. Bishop Posted April 12, 2012 Share Posted April 12, 2012 So far as I've been able to figure, no, you can't do it. What I usually do in those situations is just create leader text and put the dimension in that manually instead of using the dimension command. It's annoying - and it won't auto-update if you change the model - but it does have the virtue of having a vertex when absolutely necessary.
