Going back to "school"

I used to think I was a cad whizz-I learned fast and out did most of the guys at college, particlularly in 3D where I did some pretty interesting stuff .
It has occured to me since joining this very useful forum that I don't know much at all, or rather what I did know has been forgotten as it is not used in my work. 99% of the time I draw pretty basic 2D geometry and have forgotten much about blocks, x refs and all the other cool stuff Autocad offers.
So the time is upon me to dust off the old college notes and get back on top of things. So, can anyone recomommend a decent book for someone like myself, pretty well conversed in cad but needs a bit of a shove?

Ellen Finkelstein's AUTOCAD BIBLE would probably be a good overall reference, covering levels from beginner to advanced. There are lots of great tutorials on this forum and elsewhere online which can really give you some insights into new ways to do things.

Hilarious I'm sure! Not at all, but at £4000 a go I do not yet feel the need to upgrade to 2012, it goes way beyond what I need.
