    Hi.

    I may need to convert tif files into dwg format.

    Can anyone explain how to do this & what is required.

    Here you will find suggestions regarding conversion of raster files to vector format; an alternative may be to print the image as PDF and try a PDF-to-DWG converter.
    The raster to vector conversion was discussed many times before, and the main conclusion seems to be that the results aren't very good (the intermediate step of converting to PDF may further depreciate the results).

    Any conversion is going to leave you less than thrilled. Do an IMAGEATTACH and trace over it in AutoCAD. Can't spend the time? Then ship it out to one of those overseas companies that pay poverty wages to some poor slob to do all the grunt work for you at a relatively cheap price.
