Sweep bug

Why's that i tried to use the sweep to make a railings. But after saving it and reopen the file the railings went wrong. Like it looks it has a extruded parts...

 

 

See at the Boat Deck The railings there Its like it has a roofing effect.....it should be only railings but it went like it extrude .....darn it

no no xref's are not involve. ..

 

Living pretty dangerous doing all that work and not utilizing xrefs.

I would on the next attempt at completing the project.

Xref = External reference. Using xrefs helps reduce file size. Say you have a detail that you use quite often. You can xref the detail into ten drawings. If you make a change to the original detail drawing you do not have to change all ten drawings because the detail is an xref. When you open one or all of the drawings the revised detail drawing will automatically update.

...and you might treat xrefs like individual parts or sub-assemblies placed into an assembly.

If one file becomes corrupt you don't lose the whole thing. Hope you have back-ups.
