Mirroring a Block with internal text

I am trying to mirror a block which has text defined internally. However, the text will not reverse when the block is mirrored. I have read some documentation which said to use MIRRTEXT with a setting of "1". I tried this and it didn't work, are there any other options which allows the block to stay intact and not have to explode it??

Thanks for the help.

For text in blocks to stay the right way round after mirroring (with MIRRTEXT set to 0), the text HAS to be an attribute. It must not be ordinary text.

I created a new block by exploding an existing one. Then I deleted the existing text and recreated the text as an attribute and then recreated my block. Mirrored the new block and the text was correct. Thanks for the help.
