    Hello, it's me again

    I'm having another little problem.

How do I complete this line? I tried doing it with the ellips tool but that didn't seem to work.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

The screen shot is what you have drawn so far? Are you looking to draw a line between those red points? Is the outside shape an ellipse or a circle?
If the above are correct, then: to locate the top point use either Intersect or Quadrant Osnap mode; for bottom one End mode.

it need to be something like this:

Everything that you see are circles, except the line i'm searching. It needs to be a trimmed elliptical line or something.

Don’t you have an imposed geometry for that part? Is this an exercise that you have to complete or you are just playing with AutoCAD?

You can draw a curve there by either using (1) the ELLIPSE command and indicating the points in the order noted below, use TRIM to remove un-wanted parts or (1) by an arc with first end in point 1, middle point in an arbitrary location and finished in point 2.

You could try the CIRCLE command with the Tan-Tan-Radius option and trim away what you don't need.

Several entity types could be made to intersect those points. If tangency was required at all three, though, then the simplest would be a hyperbolic arc. The arc attached was drawn as a Degree 2 spline.
