Epicurwin
AutoCAD MEP 2012 & 11 Can I add in a 1 inch buffer zone to my pipes? I guess I could just make my insulation 1" thicker, but I would really not like having the wrong thickness on purpose. It would be nice if I could have it displayed differently than the pipe and insulation, although that might be asking too much. I also need it so it would work in Navisworks clash detection. Thanks. NH3man!
You can set that up in Navisworks. Set your clash detection tolerance to what ever you desire.
Epicurwin
Well I can't, I have Freedom, but the head coordinator can. It would be nice to have it in MEP but I usually deal with it manually.
tzframpton
Yeah that's a little more than AutoCAD MEP can handle out of the box.
