sashmits
Hey guys, In my attached image, their annotation on the lines shows NDW along the line. i am wondering how they have done this. is there a setting to put the same word along the line or would they have just copied and pasted the word along the line. thanks
MSasu
Actually, you can create a linetype with an embedded string; please check this previous discussion for some details and a dedicated tool (see last post).
Blackfish
You can try this adding it to your acad.lin *NDW,NDW Line ----NDW----NDW----NDW----NDW---- A,2,-.25,["NDW",ARIAL,S=.1,R=0.0,X=-0.1,Y=-.05],-.25 *You should have ARIAL text style or AutoCAD use current one if missing. Notice that if you are using AC2011 or newer you can replace "R=0.0" with "U=0.0" and your text will be readable as easy as dimensions are.
