I didn’t tried to access it, so don’t know which type of font file it is. If is a SHX type, then just copy it in the Fonts folder of your AutoCAD installation. ReMark Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 There is no mention of the font extension in that article at the AutoDesk website so can we assume they are referring to .otf files? I thought I read that some OpenType fonts actually carry a .ttf file extension depending on the binary compiler that is used to create the font. Blackfish Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 Yes, I have assumed that if a font is properly installed in a system, but not seen in Autocad it's .otf file. Almost all my fonts are OpenType, but they have .ttf extension and all of them can be use in Autocad. Therefore, I allow myself the above supposition.
