Creating a PDF Plotter

I have a new macbook and no printer. Id like to set up my print settings to plot to pdf and choose the correct paper sizes and utilize my line type print settings. I am using auto cad 2013 and see i can create a pdf but it doesn't allow my set my plotter up as a pdf. any help or advice on this topic would be much appreciated. thanks.

Does it have to be a PDF? How about configuring a DXB plotter like so....http://www.ehow.com/how_7915701_configure-dxb-plotter.html

If it doesn't have to be a pdf, OK, but I have always considered the DWG to PDF.pc3 a virtual plotter. I don't have a large format plotter either, but I give my clients ArchD 24x36 or any other size they want in pdf anyway. In fact, unless they cry and moan, I never furnish hard copies of anything to anybody.
