Epicurwin
I was working on a drawing and everything was working smoothly. Once I opened up the paper space to make sheets for a plot it slowed down to a crawl. I edited the sheets to have the correct title blocks, ect. and now the performance in model space is also very slow. It takes about 5 seconds to do anything, selecting pipe, starting a command, even switching viewports. This is killing me. I'm considering making a new drawing and xrefing it into the new one for future floors because I can't spend 10 hours putting dimensions, elevations and labels on pipe when it should take 1 hour tops. I'm working in MEP autoCAD 2012. I opened up the drawing on another computer. It runs at normal speed. I set it to one viewport, top view, 2d wireframe so I could add notes to the drawings. I'm not going to open up the paper space on this computer. I'm going to add the notes and then open it again on this to print it off and up date the title sheet. I have no idea why it is running faster on the other computer. The other computer runs autoCAD MEP 2011.
