Pasting Multiple Annotations in Cad from Text/Excel

Recommended Posts

I'm sure there is a simple way to do this, but it's just not working for me. I'm trying to paste in things like "N.G.", "Top of Bank", "Edge of Water" all at certain points to annotate the topography. I've tried the following:

text N.G 800,90

text Top of Bank 820,90

But I keep getting the prompt for annotation angle and it gets stuck there so I tried:

text N.G 800,90 90

text Top of Bank 820,90 90

But the same thing occurs. I need the text to be vertical. Is there an easy way to paste this in? I'm sure there is and I'm just missing it. I've done some searching here, but haven't come up with much. Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to resort to creating blocks and importing the attributes as I'm sure it's much easier than that.

Nevermind, pretty sure a previous post modified will work for me. In case someone tries searching my terms, here is what looks to work:

point 499990.537,499983.388,399.872 -text @ 0.5 90 EDGE WATER

point 499987.932,499983.304,399.857 -text @ 0.5 90 TOP OF BANK

point 499985.838,499983.235,399.863 -text @ 0.5 90 NG
