Default Section View in Constructs & Elements

    Hi,

Can some one explain how to move the section views to Constructs.
I have lots of section views and it makes my drawing look very busy.
I have seen this done, but don't know how to do it myself.
    How do you link them?

    Thanks

If I'm reading your request correctly, there's no way to do this. Sections must remain in the file in which they were created. However, I have had some good success in creating MEP Sections with XREF's from other Constructs and Views. This is a good thing since it doesn't limit you only to the file in which the objects were created.

You will have to find your own "best practice" but for me, I create a "Sections" View Category and make Sections that way. Try it out and see how it comes out for you.

Have a look at this post

It might be you, similar username
anyway, I want the sections views in another file, but connected to my model, so if I make an alteration, they change automatically, or by refreshing the section view

    Thanks

Yes, that's me as it's the exact same username and not just merely "similar".

But my first post still stands. Give it a shot.

*EDIT* Also, MexicanCustard had a good idea in the very last post of the thread. Try his option out too.
