Default Aligning edges to vertex, to remake impossible stairs.

Hiya I was wondering if anyone could help me, I am currently trying to model a set of boxes with a movable vanishing point on 3ds max. Therefore I want the edges of the boxes to be aligned to that vanishing point. When I use the align tool I can get the edges of the box to the correct angle vertically by aligning them to a vertex though the edges of the boxes stay parallel to each other rather than turning them in to a trapezes which is what i need to make the effect complete.

I have tried using some vertex snap scripts which were supposed to move the middle vertex into line with the other two but this didn't really work.

    Thanks in advance:-)

In a nutshell, I create 3D models from the client's CAD files or design sketches, which I then use to produce high quality rendered images. Click on the link in my signature to view my portfolio. I'm always looking for work, so let me know if you need any renders. :)

I don't really understand. A movable vanishing point? Can you post some screenshots of what you're trying to do?

Can't you just build the model and then move your camera around until you get the view you want?
