ok i know what a part looks like int he flat and I know what it looks like folded, but i can't seem to go from folded to flat and get the right flat part. Can i import a flat part and make it form and adjust the sizes?

I'm using sheet metal and the part is a door frame so i have radius and angles etc... so it has to bend as it starts the angle.

    please help

Always model the desired finished form - (almost) never the flat. Inventor will do the work of getting the flat.

Yes. What is the source and why?
