    Default Dimensioning Sections in MEP

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I have a drawing which i am working on which is a fairly complex mechanical installation of a boiler room.

I am required to create sections for various elements the heights of pipework is quite critical to get it all to fit.

When i create a section and attempt to dimension heights of pipework from floor level the heights appear different to those set on the heights of the model.

I do realise that the height of pipes are taken centrally by default but say for instance the bottom pipe dimension in the section is higher than the top of the pipe in the model.

Anyone know what i might be doing wrong, i expect it is something i am doing, perhaps not using the appropriate anotation tool or something.

    Any help greatly appreciated.
