    When i am updating the Inventor 2012 assembly file ...... its getting lots of time.

    My questions is why its getting hanged and updating is done after so many time ?

    Sounds like you do not have enough RAM? how any parts are in the assembly?
    USING AUTOCAD 2013 AND INVENTOR 2013, ALIAS 2013.

    If in doubt scale and don't ask!
