Default House from a Text Book

I was wondering of anyone out there had the book from John Stine titled "Residential Design Using Autodesk. REVIT Architecture 2012."

I am doing the home that is built as a tutorial from the book. My question is that I cant seem to put any lights on the first floor. There seems to be no ceiling, but the book seems to have you duplicate the 2nd floor and use that as the 1st floor ceiling. Hard to explain if you dont have the book. Anyway, if there is anyone out there that does use this book and knows what I am talking about, or that does have the book and still might have an idea of what I am getting at would you please help me. I would really appreciate it.

Thank Yall Kindly and stay safe.

It's been several years since I did the exercise and don't have access to the books right now. Did the book have you place a ceiling in it? If so, go to the reflective ceiling plan and see if you can attach it to the ceiling in that view. I have place a fake ceiling (1/2" thick) below a second floor to attach lights to and hid the ceiling in the view.

I thank ya for that advice and it worked very well. Little mad at myself for not thinking of it myself. LOL. But thank you and it worked just the way that I wanted it to.

    Thank yall again.
