Default lines distort when zooming in

Hello all, I'm new to the Forum, but I have been on CadTutor for about a year. What a great teaching platform. I have recommended it to fellow students.

I'm having an issue with AutoCAD 2010 at a new job. When zooming in all the lines distort, as if I need to change from a perspective view to a straight on view. What is the setting to change this? I've tried changing me perspective view, but that just throws me into a perspective view, which is what I don't want. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Viewres?
    Regen?
    Ortho or polar tracking?
Attach file here that exhibits this behavior (only need a line or two).
