As far as I know, that's not possible. When I edit text, it seems to highlight exactly what I don't want highlighted. I always assumed it was Murphy's Law in action.

What I want to do is have text edit for single line text to start at the end of a string of text instead of high lighting the entire text. Is it possible to do this?
Thanks

That's exactly what I thought. Thanks

If all the text is highlighted, try pressing the Right Arrow Key, then Space, then start typing.

Hit CTRL+End, space, that way you will be ready no matter if it is mtext or single line text.
