I am using AutoCad 2007. Is it possible and if so how do I trim, clip a block?

I've seen it done with dynamic blocks but don't know how.

It's XCLIP command, but I don't think it's possible in AutoCAD 2007. As far as I remember it was introduced in 2010.
    LT is still AutoCAD

Thanks to all for your replies, especially to Blackfish. The XCLIP command works in AutoCAD 2007 and accomplishes exactly what I need.

You're welcome. In 2010 it was probably in LT, which I'm a proud and zealous user
