    Default Can you trim LINE to LOFTED surface?

    And another question. Can you create a wireframe mesh consisting of lines or splines out of lofted surface?

    What is your purpose?
    The reason I ask is that in Autodesk Inventor you could create a point at the line/surface pierce location, change the line to construction and sketch an object line from endpoint to pierce point.

    I'm working with pointcloud.
    Creating a wireframe of a canopy that's curving and twisting.
    I've drawn out a plan and edges already. Now I'm thinking of projecting construction lines down through it exactly like you said to find pierce locations.
