    Attachment 35673

This has happened on several models I've been working on and I'm not sure how to avoid it.

I am editing an existing model trying to add features, strengthen areas, etc. And I usually run into messy situations like above.

Is there any way to fix this? I'm trying to fill in areas like that and make it smooth with the rest of the part/curve.

Can anyone show me how to avoid such situations and/or what I need to do to fix this problem?

Agree JD , Looks like yo have deleted faces or extruded into the part? Very difficult to see what has happened with out looking at the part file.
USING AUTOCAD 2013 AND INVENTOR 2013, ALIAS 2013.

If in doubt scale and don't ask!
