    Default Creating an Enterprise.cui

I'm having a bad day, my enterprise menu has lost it's contextual ribbons! I set this up as a new blank CUI and loaded acad and acetmain as partials, then I created a company workspace.

All seemed fine but now some of the contextuals are not auto selecting, eg block edit does not change on the ribbon and requires a right click to get to the close pop up options.

Any suggestions as to what might have gone wrong before I start again from scratch?

First thing I would check is that you have an empty Main CUIx; having commands, ribbon tabs, etc duplicated in both Main and Enterprise CUIx can lead to problems.

FWIW - I learned a lot about Enterprise CUIx from the third AU link here:

Thanks for the link, I take a gander and see if it helps any.

Definately have empty main, its the enterprise that has gone squiffy. I am right in thinking that I should only need to add the ACAD.cuix as a partial to get working contextuals, I shouldn't have to copy them in, should I? Is it better to start with the full ACAD.cuix and saveas to develop an Enterprise? I thought if I use just partials I could replace them with any future updates but I'm not so convinced now.

I tend to use a copy of the OOTB CUIx as Enterprise, and partial load our customizations, as we have different CUIx for each version (ie, AutoCAD, Map, Civil, etc). Some only need out standard customizations (applicable to all versions), and some also need the vertical customizations.
