Autocad 2012 Text Problem

I have just reinstalled Autocad 2012 on my computer.

I was amending text in a drawing.

I saved & closed but when i re-opened the drawing the majority of the text has moved. almost as if the justification has changed!

anyone else had this problem?

and how do i go about stopping this from happening again?[/font]

thanks Dadgad

justifytext worked on some of the text but not all of it

it will justify the text to the correct TL but not move the text back to its original position!

i then tried MTP but this hasnt worked on this either

i really need to prevent this happening again. its very time consuming!

also very embarrassing if i need to send drawings out to a client and the text is all over the place!

thanks for your help

but if you have any other ideas these would be muchly appreciated

Does this problem persist if the drawing is opened on another workstation after you save the drawing?

Are these text objects or attributes??? If they are attributes, make sure that the position is locked in the attribute definition dialog box... I dont know of any reason why text objects would move on their own.

Ill go out on a limb here, but what version are you saving these files in? Try saving the drawing to a different version. I try to save all my drawings to AutoCAD 2004 format and have noticed a difference in the way drawings act...
