Default Multi view Part Style problem

Ok, so I'm fairly new to MEP but have been using AutoCad for many years. I just got an upgraded computer at my company with a clean install of Autocad MEP 2012. I also have East Coast Cad installed.

My problem is that in the drawing I am working in (started on my last computer) I can no longer insert a multi view part and see more than the connectors.

    I'm in MEP Basic 2-line.
I also went into the display manager ---->Sets ---> Multi-view part and had to check model and Plan in the columns.

What I have figured out so far:
    1) If someone else in the office puts the part in and closes the drawing, it displays fine, as does all of the equipment I put in before the new PC.
    2) If I right click on the part and edit the MV Part Style, I notice that all of the view names 1-16 are showing 1 line as the display representation. If I change the view names 8-14 to two line, and Model_3D to model, then the part shows correctly.

What I need to figure out is how to change the default settings in the Multi view Part Style to be correct so I don't have to change them every time I insert a new MV part.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks for any input
    Rick

Are these default parts or custom made MvParts? I can think of twenty different reasons why this isn't working so if you could upload an example then that could help me out a great deal in helping you. Could be a Cut Plane issue, a Style Override issue, and View Direction issue, etc etc x twenty.

    *EDIT*
Also note, 'Model' in the Display Manager is only when you're in a 3D rotated view. Lots of people get confused with this. In other words, if you're in a Top, Side, or Elevation View then Model doesn't apply, only Plan.
