Good call Dadgad. I've gotten so used to Dynamic Input that I wasn't even thinking about the command line.

    Thanks nestly.
Might that also be why you grew frustrated with MEASUEGEOM returning the repeating feature, but at your not so big dynamic tool input field?
Personally I use DISTANCE too, shortcall D, use it all the time.

Some tricks this old dog refuses to learn. I've never used MEASUREGEOM; always use the DISTANCE (DI) command.

With 2013 measuregeom needs the DYNamic input on to work as expected, I think in 2012 it would show regardless of how DYN was toggled.

I am not finding that so on 2013 vanilla.
I just checked, as shown with dynamic UCS and dynamic input both turned off, and it worked fine,
and in 3D isometric no less.
    System variable difference perhaps?

When I wrote "as expected" I meant in 2012 it would show on screen in dynamic mode regardless of the DYN setting, in 2013 one must have DYN on to show dynamically while using measuregeom.

    Smile Thanks for this solution

This is really helpful. I also had the same problem and have struggled to work out an easy solution. I have completed both your suggestions and it was my command line which had collapsed and now my Dimension tool is working perfectly again!
    Really appreciate your help!
