    Default Volume part and solid

I encountered a strange problem, I sometimes do project as multisolids, I catch
the volume from single solids to understand It´s weight. This normally works but
today when I tooked volume from a split solid It was a difference of 4m³ Compared
to when I convert the solid to a part? Our provider of Inventor had no clue why. I tested a simple cube 1m³ and splited in half with a surface made from a spline.
If I compare volyme as solid and volume as created part difference was 0,0003 m³
Should not this give the same result?

    That is the same result.
Must get used to the fact that computers round off numbers at some point by necessity.
Must get used to the fact that there is no measuring device in real world to measure this difference - so how is it a problem?
