Looks to me like your text box is not tall enough.
Drag the corner and then edit the text and see if that solves the problem

So I'm using geometry text for something, and I'm having some weirdness with the text entry. There's no problem with the extruded text - it's all fine - it's just that, in the box for entering text, it seems to have some very odd margins. You can see that the text sketched on to the part works fine, but not so much with the text that I'm typing into the box.
It doesn't really impair function at all - aside from annoying the hell out of me - but I'd really like it to not do this anymore. Anyone have ideas? It doesn't do this all the time, but it does seem to happen a lot.

No, the text on the part is fine, it's the text in the input box that's screwy. It's geometry text centered up on a construction line - it should all be on a single line like you can see on the part, not broken up like it is in the input box.
