nocturne00
Good day to all. I've been using Revit for some time now but still in the basics. I just want to ask if it is possible to setup link CAD files to be , in a way "Unsnappable". The CAD files were drawn quite terribly and the accuracy is not very reliable. I only want to snap at the revit elements and im using the link cad files only as a guide. Thanks in advance
RobDraw
If you find an answer, please post it here. I need to do the same thing.
Lee Roy
Hide the element. If you're wanting to only snap Revit elements, that sounds like you're not concerned with the Import Object, so just hide it.
RobDraw
We are using it as a reference to draw. Can't draw it without seeing it...
nocturne00
@ LeeRoy, Thanks for your input but as Rob has said, and we're actually on the same track, the CAD drawing is being used as a guide. Of course i'll turn it off if I only want to snap to revit elements, but most of the time I need it on so I know what i'm tracing.
