Print_Master
I was wondering if anyone knew if you could get a 30 day trial, or a student version like you can with AutoDesk. If I do have to pay for the license how much would it be for a student and a full version of this software? I do know how to use Inventor, Revit, and Sketch Up, and I have heard about this software being like the "Mercedes" compaired to Inventor. I would like to learn how to use this software. Thank you all in advance for the help.
JD Mather
I have heard about this software being like the "Mercedes" compaired to Inventor... Inventor and SolidWorks are equivalent. I have not found any significant differences. Check at your school - at our school students get SWx student license for free. If you have any involvment with First Robotics you can get it for free. http://www.solidworks.com/sw/education/mechanical-engineering-student-software.htm https://store.solidworks.com/studentstore/default.php?mkid=1493&scid=ext_aw_NL_Student_Store_&keyword=free%20solidworks%20for%20students&creative=11123949246 http://www.journeyed.com/product/search?qk_srch=solidworks-software&orig_search=solidworks
