Dadgad Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 Welcome to the forum. Here is a good entry level instruction to help you understand the basics. Just remember that an XREF is just another drawing which will be attached to a new drawing, perhaps standard items which are routinely used, for instance. Any drawing can be used as an XREF. They will have regular .dwg file names, which is all they are.
