Smile How can I print the Layers list

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I am trying to set up standards for a small company and want to distribute a handout showing what layers we use and their characteristics. Is there a way to do this or do I just open up ol' Word and type it out? I didn't see anything in earlier threads that address this question.

    For free from here
    http://www.dotsoft.com/freestuff.htm

Look for layerhtm2.zip or maybe layerhtm.zip for you since you are using 2004.

Open the LAYER Manager, right-click then Select All.CTRL+C
    Open Excel
    CTRL+V

Hey Presto, no third party app needed.

Depends on how many layers you have...
if you are not going to use LISP ? 3rd party programs, you can do that by typing :

    -Layer > ? > *
hit F2 and highlight all the Layers. CTRL+C and paste it either in Notepad / excel

No offence, but some thanks should go to @pendean too, since was the first to suggest this solution.
