Question how do you detach objects that have been attached

I have multiple objects that I have temporarily attached together so I can edit them at one time. Now that i am done, i want to detach them so they are separate objects again, the polygons overlap so i can not easily select by individual poly. is there an easy way to do this?

In a nutshell, I create 3D models from the client's CAD files or design sketches, which I then use to produce high quality rendered images. Click on the link in my signature to view my portfolio. I'm always looking for work, so let me know if you need any renders. :)

Use "Element" selection mode. Polygon selection mode will only select individual polygons, one at a time, whereas Element selection mode will select entire objects.
