    Default solid history >>>> Help please

    hey .. iam working with autocad 2013 .. and i want to see the solid history of some cylinder that i subtracted from a cube ... to do that .. i had to open the properties of the object .. and check under "solid history" >> history (record) & "show history" ( = yes )

    and it works great ... except that i found out that one some toturials on youtube .. that he press ctrl only to see that ... and my head is boiling .. i cant find it myself and i cant find anyone to help me with that ... please

    how to do that ...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i also realized that there is not grips enabled in my autocad 2013 i dont know why ???? i have object snap is on and 3d object snap . even OSNAPZ is set to 1 .. then why there is no grips in 3d now ??? .. i want previuse request .. is it a bug .. am i forgetting something ?

    Try _GRIPS = 1 or 2 for the grips.

    its already 2 and i tried also "1" but still no grip ... i will try to make a vedio and upload it as soon as i can .. it will be small ..

    Parametric modeling applications are perfect for things like this (Revit, Inventor, etc). Just throwing it out there is all as a tip.

    SOLIDHIST has to be turned on before solids are modified. That plus CTRL-Click on a face for Subobject selection should yield the same results as shown in the video.

    its one ( set = 1 ) i also tried the ( set = zero )

    kinda have no choice .. iam architecture .. we use autocad 2d . 3d , revit 2d.3d .. 3ds max .. sketchup ...arcgis 10 and more with photoshop ... as far as i can see .. i still have to learn -.-
