Is there a way in Inventor 2011 to rotate the text on the surface texture symbols?

There has to be a way to rotate the surface texture "check mark" text 90°. I would much appreciate any advice on this subject.

Attach file here (I have no motivation to make one up myself).
Did you already check in Styles Editor (that is where I will check when you provide an example).

I along with other my co-workers have already check the styles editor for this option... Hence the reason I am asking the question on this forum. Sense I answered your question about the styles editor, there is no need to upload a file. The example picture in the initial post should be sufficient.

I figured someone who is such an esteemed Certified Autodesk Inventor Professional could answer this simple question off the top of his head.

That is the key I have been trying to drum into my students heads - there is actually very little about any particular CAD program (I use several) that I can answer off the top of my head. The key is that I know how to dig into the Help screens.

I just tell everyone, "I'm too busy right now, let me get back to you on that - then I go look it up and experiment." They all think I'm some sort of genius with all the answers, but they could have done the same thing.

I always miss several questions on the Associate exam because you can't use the software, but on the Professional exam you can - so I get them all correct because I can look up what I don't know.

OK, I did minimal experimentation and didn't a way using the tool, but it should be easy to create a Sketched Symbol that would do the job

A sketch symbol is a great idea! Thank you for your time and advice.

When creating - there is a attachment point tool (icon in upper right corner of screen) that you will want to become familiar with to make the Sketched Symbol that you create act like the Surface Finish tool.
