Somehow the associativity was lost between the leader and text, use _QLATTACH to re-associate.

Use MLEADERS unless you save back to <2004 version.

How do you suppose that might happen, bailing on a lisp, like I suggested earlier, or?

If you do drag them to text, which would be real easy, make sure you turn on ORTHO first so that they look right.
I would still say that when you have time to delve into it, that the MULTILEADER option is a better way to do what you want to do,
bearing in mind the big guys proviso about saving back to 2004 file type.

definitely dadgad, any future projects will be with multileader. i've already started setting it up.
