My advice would be: don't even go there...
Even if it were possible to get it working, I reckon you'd end up with no end of really annoying problems.
Is there a compelling reason why you need to use 98?

It will work or I have heard it will but why? Win95, 98 and Me are not professional OSs. They do not have the protected memory management need for this application. I suggest Win2000 Pro or XP. Is hardware an issue? Is this an older computer?

Thanks fellas! I bought George Omura's book "Autocad 2004" and it comes with a thirty day trial. It installed ok, but when you try to run it , it wont start. I guess it's time to upgrade to XP.
Hold that thought. Are you getting an error message when you try to run it? If so write the message down and search the AutoDesk site for an answer. A co-worker was taking a copy of his AutoCAD home for work and it would not run. It would install but not run. There was a conflict with Norton I believe. Double check with autodesk first. It might affect XP as well. Good luckOriginally Posted by Hagar
