Double "Click" w/TEXT vs Double "Click" w/MTEXT

When I double click on MULTI-LINE TEXT, the editor opens up. This is what I'm used to and how I would like C3D to work.

But when I double click on SINGLE LINE TEXT, the command 77 shows up in the command line. (77 represents my preferred OSNAP settings.) Is there an explanation as to why C3D is acting this way?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

It sounds like the double-click action has changed. This is how I would do it in 2012, I think 2009 was similar.

Type CUI

Click on Double Click Action

Scroll down until you find the Text object.

Under properties, make sure the macro line reads….^C^C_ddedit
