Are you familiar with VPFROZEN layers?
Meaning that you can have different layers frozen in each VIEWPORT.
They can all be UNFROZEN in MODELSPACE, and you customize the layer visibility settings in each viewport to your needs.

Hi,
This is more related to your experince than MEP!
I have a boilers house with Steam, condensate, oil, compressed air..... pipes
At the moment I have been turning layers off to have one or two system on ( for exapmle oil and Compressed air pipes), then using Section mark A2T to create different section views. Then drag & drop the views on relevant sheets
Is there a better way to do this?
Second question; Is there anyway to get section mark A2t, to generate MEP Section Elevation- Hidden instead of MEP Section Elevation?(as in display set)
Thanks

Hi Dadgad,
And thanks for your reply,
I have tried that, actually this was my first thought as I use is in AutoCAD alot.
It turns the pipes off, but the centre line is still there, because they are all on same layer ****std-clin![]()
