madriver Posted August 27, 2012 Share Posted August 27, 2012 I am having a problem in 2012 with renaming a sv$ file extension to a dwg extension. In the past I was able to rename the file in explorer and open as a dwg file. Now it will not loose the sv$ extension after the dwg extension and will not open said file. Any thoughts? rkent Posted August 27, 2012 Share Posted August 27, 2012 In Windows you need to set to show the file extensions otherwise it will continue to add the .dwg between the file name and the sv$ extension.
