jimemack Posted August 27, 2012 Share Posted August 27, 2012 Forgive me, for I am new to Solidworks and, therefore, only have dumb questions at this time. Anyway, I am wondering why, when I extrude, 2D or 3D, I can't seem to do anything with the side of the extrusion, only the original sketch surface or it's opposing side. I created a cylinder and want to put text on the curved part, not the flat sides, but there doesn't seem to be an intuitive way to do that. Is it even possible? If so, can someone guide me?
