Jeff_M
BIGAL, is this still with C3D2013? If so, as Renderman pointed out, this dll will not work with 2013. The code he showed above will work, but it must be compiled against the C3D2013 binaries. I may have some time later to do that for you if you aren't able to. Jeff_M
OK, attached is a ZIP file with a DLL compiled for C3D2013. WHen it is run, it shows that it doesn't process some items. I didn't write the program so I'm not sure what/why this is, but it appears to be benign. Don't forget to unblock the zip file before extracting the dll. BlackBox
Renderman, for the OP's wish for the Styles to also be output, there is another sample provided which can be modified to do just that. Look at the Compare Styles sample, it has code to regenerate an ArrayList of all styles which can then be used to create an XML file (I've done this for a company) or any other format file (txt, csv, etc.). Sorry, I've been away for a bit... Glad you stepped in to help here, and thanks for the info. As for the Command Settings sample not outputting correctly formatted XML code, I used this as an excuse to learn how to use the .NET XML Document tools. Shoot me an email if you want more info. Awesome; email sent.
